It’s easy! You drop off your pup at their scheduled appointment time, and we work on your dog straight through! Your dog only stays with us for the duration of their appointment! We keep you updated throughout the appointment so that you can plan on when to pick up. Your dog gets to play and socialize with other salon guests during their time here! We do have a bank of kennels to use as we see fit for dogs with behavioral issues or medical conditions.
No. We will provide you with an update when your dog has 30 minutes of their appointment left, and we respectfully request prompt pickup within 45 minutes of the completed groom. If your dog relieves itself during the 45 minute pickup window, there will be a $30 re-bath fee. There is a Day Care charge for dogs left longer than an hour after completed groom. Please plan accordingly.
Appointment times vary depending on the pet and service being provided. Typically Small/Medium Full Grooms take 2-3 hours, Large/Extra Large Full Grooms take 3-4 hours, and Bath/Puppy appointments take 1-2.5 hours depending on the breed of dog. We will provide a more accurate time estimate for you at check in!
The sooner you can start getting your puppy groomed, the better! We typically suggest scheduling your puppy to come in after their second round of vaccines. The more frequently you bring your young puppy in, the more comfortable they will be throughout their lives! We suggest scheduling as many puppy grooms as possible before your pup turns 5 months, and then scheduling a full groom after that. Ideally, your pup will have had at least 4 puppy grooms before 5 months. We will not force a puppy older than 5 months through a full groom if they haven’t been professionally groomed before.
Yes. The State of Texas requires that we keep your dogs current rabies vaccination expiration date on file. The tag is not adequate documentation, and we will need you to text or email a clearly visible photo of the records to us at (512) 814-7634, or Booking@GroominGavyn.net. In lieu of vaccination records, you can also submit Titer Test results from your veterinarian.
Yes! Please schedule as many appointments as possible in advance. We typically book 1-2 months out. Clients that pre-book will receive priority booking if they do need to reschedule.
If you don’t want your dog (or dogs) around other dogs, we can kennel your dog, or you can buy a day, or a half day of work. A credit or debit card must be kept on file. Please contact the salon to schedule.
Yes! There is a 5% military discount provided to those with a military ID! To be eligible for any discounts, a credit or debit card must be kept on file. Contact the salon to secure your discount today!
We require a card to be kept on file to secure your scheduled appointment time. The card is not charged at the time of scheduling, but is kept on file to pay at pickup if requested. There is no cancellation fee if the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with more than 48 hours notice. Cancellations or Schedule changes made within 24 hours will be charged a fee at 50% of the scheduled service price. Cancellations or Schedule changes made within 6 hours will be charged the full appointment fee. If you are unavailable or excessively late to your appointment, we reserve the right to charge the full appointment fee as a No Show charge.
We do not accept checks at this time. We accept Cash, Credit/Debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or we can email an invoice!
